Our Cook and Eat programme is delivered by our Family and Community Worker, Mrs Groom. Having undertaken training at Tesco's Cookery School, Mrs Groom now delivers a programme to our parents and children, learning how to make simple but nutritious meals from scratch. She has developed a programme that takes into consideration the surplus food donations we receive from Asda and Tesco.

Families have learned how to make and cook a three-course meal:
- Vegetable Soup
- Spaghetti Bolognese
- No-bake Cheesecake

The programme is delivered to 5 families at a time. Their children and parent/carer share elements of the class and at the end of the session, families take home what they have made to eat at home.
